Will Washington ever host a Super Bowl?

The NFL promised to consider New York and Washington for a future Super Bowl after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in both cities harmed tourism. It was the NFL’s way of helping ailing economies because the game now brings about $350 million to host regions.
