Stephen Spielberg’s “Lincoln” appears Friday and it looks like a blockbuster. After all, who doesn’t love the story of the 16th and maybe the greatest president (over George Washington.)
But we all how Lincoln’s story ends, and that’s my tour on Saturday — the Lincoln Assassination tour. We meet at 10 a.m. at the Andrew Jackson statue in Lafayette Park next to the White House and spend 90 minutes discussing that famous night while finishing less than one mile away at Ford’s Theater.
And, it’s free. Tips aren’t discouraged, though.
So come one and all. Bring your friends. I’d appreciate an email so I can gauge a crowd number at MonumentalThoughts@gmail.com.
